This is actually just as easy as it is supposed to be! What an incredibly simple and useful app that, against all odds, has text recognition that actually works every time. Im finally done with picking the second cheapest wine!

Tried this app with quite a few wine lists and it works like magic! It provides everything that I need to know about the wine: rating, score, review, price range and a lot more! Even reading through them is a lot of fun, not to mention how it helps me order like a pro! Highly recommend.

Seems to capture the text pretty well, but Im guessing the wines on the menu do not exist in its database?! Will try again at another restaurant, but I was at a wine bar and had 0% success.

This is the best wine app Ive seen. So easy to use and it really works. It even works on menus displayed on iPads. Great partnership with CellarTracker. So worth the $4.99

This app works like magic. Every wine list Ive ever tried it on has a 100% accuracy rate and since Ive downloaded it I everyone Ive shown it to has been floored.

Why mess around with an iPhone at a fancy restaurant instead of talking to the sommelier? Nothing amazing about the app, except a demo of OCR and matching against snippets of data

This app is a waste of money. I havent ever got it to work. I want my five dollars back.

I tried this app while on a trip to California, and was ridiculed publicly. I was lucky if the app found something else by the same vineyard. Totally useless on the first two wine lists I tried. I give the app 1 star for an obviously decent attempt at something useful, but I cant go beyond that.

It was great when it worked by I tried it out again tonight and the stars and pricing data didnt populate.

But has never ever accepted a single photo of a wine list. Maybe it doesnt work iOS 8 or iPhone 6? Help!

I rarely pay for an app and when I do, I expect it to be worth it. Every time I scan a menu, I get an error message saying it cannot be scanned. Ive tried in many different locations and lighting situations and always have the same problem--so I never had the opportunity to use this beyond that.

Very disappointing. The match rate is incredibly low. May as well just google each wine. Worthless.

Good and bad, sometimes it will scan a wine list, other times it wont take a photo

Impressive character recognition, and a great database. Really helps when facing an unfamiliar wine list.
